  • This place is located near the border of rajasthan and and once it was the path to enter in rajasthan so it is called polo forest , in gujarati ' pol ' means way . 
  • polo forest is the best place to visit in monsoon and winter because in this period you will come to find the real beauty of this forests ,this place has vast forests and great ancient temples ,here you will find tracking routs also.

                                                                     
How to reach there
journey will be more convenient if you take your own vehicle there ,but if you don't have your own vehicle so the journey will be more adventurous because you will have to arrange a vehicle to reach various places in forest which are discussed later....

Attraction of POLO FOREST:

  1. Ancient shiva temple :

  •   shiva temple is one of the old temples of polo forest and it has beautiful carvings and sculptures ..we can say that this shiv temple is in the lap of nature because it is surrounded by forest..
  • shiva temple is very old so you will come to see many old carvings and sculptures on the walls of the temple..


2.THE MANGO TRACK:
  •   - Here ' MANGO ' is the name of the famous mountain of polo forest , in mango mountain there is   8 to 9 km long tracking rout and and in this tracking rout you will come to see the varieties of tress like 'saag' timru' 'sisam'etc and the beautiful flowers also...
  •  -On this rout there is a Echo point where you will come to here a clear echo of your voice and that experience can't be narrated by words ..Just go there and feel it your self :)

3.ANCIENT JAIN TEMPLES:
  • Ancients Jain temples are also situated in polo forests and a famous sun temple of polo forest is also there...
  • These temples are known for their carvings and the history behind there..when you will go there ,you will come to know the whole history behind them..

  • A beautiful botanical garden and its variety of flowers and trees will surely amaze you and when you reach at the end of the garden you will find a beautiful landscape with a river ,that landscape is like you are in heaven..just look at the pictures...
