  •       Jambughoda is a wild life sanctuary located in panchmahal district 20 km away from champaner (a world heritage site)  & 70 km away from vadodara.It is the best location to visit while visiting champaner and pavagadh.This place has many tracking roots,varieties of trees and animals.you will come to see the beautiful mountains and perfect for climbing and enjoy tracking some are mentioned ahead. It is one of the best camping site to enjoy camping in forest .

         Before independence, the region belonged to the princely state of Jambughoda. The valleys nestled in the well-forested hills have always been home to many tribal settlements. There are many places to hike through the forests in the sanctuary and it is a marvelous camping site.  For those without the experience to camp, a forest rest house is available beside the Kada reservoir, one of two reservoirs in the sanctuary.


TIME TO VISIT JAMBUGHODA
Best time to visit this palce is in monsoon andd winter between august to february.At this time you will come to see the real beauty of nature and enjoy camping.
           

HOW TO REACH THERE 

By road: Champaner is 45 km away from vadodara accessible by bus or private vehicles.you can hire private vehicles from vadodara to visit champaner and pavagadh and then to jambughoda itself.
Another way is you can go with Invincible ngo  ,they do organise adventure trips to jambughoda and they also conduct adventure activities like rappelling ,bouldering etc here.

    Chitro mountain is not much high but this is the best place for tracking and doing many things like caving,rapelling,bouldering etc . you'r must be thinking that how this name chitro came, very long time ago leopard used to come on this mountain so the people of this village called it chitro(a gujarati name of cheetah) so it named chitro. 

    • MAKHANIYO MOUNTAIN:



    Makhaniyo is a very beautiful mountain situated near jambughoda wildlife sanctuary near SUKHI DAM . If you want enjoy real tracking and adventure on mountain this is the place for you,here there is a lake at the topmost side of this mountain & that location is very preety and satisfying .if you are experienced tracker you can also do camping here .

    In monsoon this place blooms at its peak and its beauty increases 100 times !!! you will find tracking somewhat difficult in this season but you will enjoy as much..you will come to have the feeling of manali..!!! from the top you can see the sukhidam also ...

    HATHANIMATA WATER FALL:

    When you plan your visit to jambughoda ,you should make sure that you also visit this beautiful waterfall located in  Panchmahal District, Poyali, Gujarat 389360 . It is only 19 km far from jambughoda and its entry is free .here is a temple of hathanimata and a beautiful place covered with mountain and vegetation.
     It is 100 metre tall waterfall and the best time to visit this place is in monsoon during moderate rain. 
    timing:8 am to 6 pm 
    if you want to visit only this waterfall one day picnic is good for you and this place if often remain crowded.

    RANI KI VAV

    RANI KI VAV (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE) "You don't stumble upon your heritage. It's there, just waiting to be explored and shared.
