TARANGA HILLS (Jain pilgrimage in the lap of mountains) Taranga, is one of the major jain pilgrimage centre in india situated in aravalli range near kheralu in mehsana district gujarat.It is the temple of Shri ajitnath bhagvan, the second Tirthankara. This temple was built by Chaulukya king Kumarapala in  1121 under the advice of his teacher Acharya Hemachandra.There were 14 temples of Svetambara and 5 temples of Digambara, these are two main branches of jainism.Here 4th to 8th century monuments also available.This place is also associated with Buddhism.
