-Saputara is the hill station located at the border of Gujarat-Maharashtra ,It is the town of dang district and part of the Sahyadri range. Saputara blooms in the season of monsoon .

Best time to visit:
Best time to visit is the monsoon and winter . Are you must be thinking that people go to hill station in summer but saputara is different because its geography is such that it blooms in monsoon because of rain and the main attraction is its forest and water falls so the monsoon is the best time to visit ...
I suggest you dont go in summer because at that time you wont be able to see the main attraction of saputara like forests and waterfalls ,and it is somewhat hot to so avoid your visit in summer...

 How to reach there:

By road: The town of Waghai is 51 km away. Ahmedabad: 409 km. Surat: 164 km. Mumbai: 250 km. Vadodara: 309 km. There are State Transport buses and private luxury coaches from Waghai and Ahmedabad. If you are coming by a private car, than National Highway might be quicker, but the state highway will offers a stunningly scenic drive.
By rail: The nearest railway station is Waghai, on the Billimora-Waghai narrow gauge section of the Western Railway. For those coming from Gujarat via Surat or Ahmedabad or even from Mumbai, Billimora is the more convenient rail head, and a direct bus service is available from there.
By air: The nearest airport is Vadodara, 309 km away.
-If you have your own vehicle so you won't face any difficulty there but you dont have your own vehicle and went there in bus so you will have to hire private vehicle there becausse the place are far from each other ..

Attraction of saputara:

The main attraction of saputara is its lush green forest and its waterfalls .Other attraction are mentioned below.

(1)  Saputara lake:


This lake is situated at the middle of saputara and and have very calm atmosphere .It is has the facilities of paddle boat rides .there is small fun park is there ,in which many adventure activities are also there .This is the best place for children to have fun ,there are many fun activities related for children .
(2)Table top:

This  is the view from the table top ,it is one of the top most point of saputara and you will come to enjoy the bike rides ,horse rides and ATV rides .In monsoon view from this top is amazing and very pleasant.
(3)Gira waterfall:



This gira waterfall is located at 50 km from the town of saputara.This place is like must watch in monsoon because it is the one of the best waterfall which you are gonna see,this place is really beautiful and calm ,best place for bathing and enjoying the nature...

(4)Step garden :
 This step garden has variety of flowers and very best spot to have quality time with family or spouse..beautiful view from this place and in monsoon it is blooms at its peak..

(5)Jain temople:




This jain temple is also one of the top most point in saputara,specialty is its carvings ,a very good peace of carving is there and it's location is also its specialty because from this temple you will come to see the major forest part of saputara and it is so satisfied and beautiful ...must watch list..
Paragliding near this temple also available and its price is around 2000 rupee per person.
